Help Clean the BlueGreen

Harmful algae blooms are affecting canals, marinas, lakes and ocean/Gulf coastlines in 50 states.

Decades of research, testing and monitoring have not fixed any of these devastating water quality issues affecting fishing, swimming, tourism, real estate properties and local economies. They are a health risk to humans and animals.

The National Algae Association is facilitating commercial pilot tests from nonpoint sources to lakes and ocean coastlines to combat these devastating problems by removing, remediation, recycling and repurposing algae blooms and HABs.

*Volunteers are needed on farms to help nutrient runoff at nonpoint sources as well as on boats and vessels to commercially remove and reduce harmful algae blooms.
